
Little Organic Farm
Dave’s farm produces over 20 varieties of potatoes and assorted other fruits and veggies on at five all-organic locations throughout Sonoma. Early Girl potatoes are his signature item. His personal favorites are Corollas- for mashing, and Ozettes- for appearance. He also farms tomatoes, strawberries, and lettuce. Dry farming is a relatively new niche technique, one that Dave says produces vegetables and fruits with richer, more concentrated flavors and higher nutritional value. Dry farm crops typically yield 60-70% less than standard crops, so the price point is a bit higher. He’s been organic farming since childhood; as a kid, he grew pumpkins.
